Delivery Information

We use a specially selected group of carriers to ensure your get the best delivery service for your order. The lead time for each item is stated on the product page under “Delivery Time”. Where delivery is stated in days or weeks, these are working days and not consecutive calendar days. Please note, 24-26th December are non-working days. The first working day following your order date is day one. You’ll receive an email from us when your order is despatched.

Christmas Deliveries

Looking to get your new furniture delivered before Christmas?

Lead times vary from product to product. Please see relevant product pages for specific Delivery Times.

The below table shows delivery cut-offs based on product Delivery Time. If you place an order after the cut-off date below, your delivery may be received after Christmas.

Delivery Charges

We offer delivery to all UK addresses, with thousands of products available on Express Delivery at no extra charge. UK mainland delivery is charged as follows;

Delivery on orders under £200 is £4.99

Delivery on orders £200+ is £12.99

Specialist Sofa Team: Armchair delivery £12.99; Sofa & Sofa Bed delivery £19.99

For Highlands and Islands, surcharges are calculated based on your postcode at checkout.


Delivery Types

1 Person Delivery

Delivery is by 1-person courier service. The lead time will be displayed on the product page.

This is an all-day, weekday service. You will receive tracking information when your order is despatched. On the day of delivery, a 2-hour delivery slot will be provided.

If you are out when the driver attempts to deliver your furniture they will leave a card with simple options for re-delivery. Alternatively, if there is a safe place to leave your item, just add the info in your basket in the “notes and instructions” box.

Delivery is to the main door of the building only. Please be aware, that if you live in a flat or have a shared entrance, the driver will only deliver your order to this entrance, not to the entrance to your flat. If you require extra assistance, you may be able to upgrade to our enhanced 2 Person service for an additional fee - please contact us to discuss this.

2 Person Delivery

Delivery will be completed by a two-person delivery team. The lead time will be displayed on the product page. The delivery service will contact you to schedule a delivery date. A three-hour delivery slot will be given the day before delivery. Deliveries are completed in most areas Monday – Friday (Saturday is available in certain locations).

The driver can also call you one hour prior to arriving at your house so if you are out, you can nip home to receive your delivery.

2 Person deliveries are to the main door to the building only, not the door of a flat or apartment. In preparation for a 2 Person delivery, we recommend that the route from the delivery van to your home is free from obstacles.

 

2 Person Room of Choice Delivery

Delivery will be carried out by a two-person delivery team. This service is to a room of choice (as long as it is safe to do so).

In preparation for a 2 Person Room of Choice delivery, we recommend that the route from the delivery van to your room of choice is free from obstacles. You might also want to ensure items hanging on walls are removed and floors are protected (old sheets are good for this).

Please be aware that 2 Person Room of Choice deliveries to flats or apartments above the 2nd floor without access to a lift will be delivered subject to the drivers' discretion and if they feel it is safe to do so.

 

Specialist Sofa Team

When your order is ready for despatch, you will be contacted by our team to arrange a delivery slot.

Delivery is made by a minimum of 2 members of our Specialist Sofa Team. Items are placed in your room of choice, unboxed, feet and any connecting parts fitted, cushions plumped and positioned, and all packaging removed.

Once you are happy, the team will then take photos of your sofa in-situ (for our delivery records only).


Pallet Service

Used for our extra large, heavy or bulky items such as kitchen islands or larder units, and selected postcodes. Delivery is to the kerbside or driveway only. Be sure you have a helping hand as you are responsible for the item once it’s unloaded from the vehicle by the driver.

 

Collection from Truro

It is possible to collect items, free of delivery charge, from our Truro location (TR1 2XR) which is open 5 days a week. Please contact us on 01872 672111 or email us at: info@roselandfurniture.com so that we can advise on details of this service. Free customer parking is available.

Packaging

Deliveries made by our Specialist Sofa Team include the removal of all packaging. Packaging removal is not included in our other delivery services.

Please retain any packaging until you've inspected your item and are 100% happy with it, as you may require it to repackage for return.

All of the packaging is made from recycled material where possible, and it’d be fantastic if you could recycle the cardboard etc. as well. If not, cardboard boxes are always useful around the home!


Non-Mainland UK/Europe

We can arrange delivery to Northern Ireland, Republic Of Ireland, Channel Islands, Isle of Man, Isle of Wight and Isle of Scilly.* Please email or call us for our delivery charges and to confirm the delivery options we can offer.

Area Surcharges

We try to offer delivery to as much of the UK as possible. Unfortunately, due to the high surcharges made to us by the delivery firms we can’t offer this to the whole of the UK.

*A surcharge may be applied to the following postcodes: BT, AB, DD, HS, IM, IV, KA, KW PA, PH, ZE

Non-UK mainland locations will also incur a surcharge and are quoted on a case by case basis to ensure we get the best price possible for you.

We will always work to keep any surcharge to an absolute minimum for our customers.

Please note, delivery times to surcharge postcodes will be longer than those stated on site. We will provide an estimate when you get in touch for a quote.
